Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and related dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision and care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage ingredient inventory, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings to enhance customer satisfaction
• Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Follow all food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine
• Strong knife skills for precise cutting and ingredient prep
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume kitchen setting
• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus
• Excellent food service skills with a friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is advantageous for accommodating special requests
