Join our vibrant logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about ensuring orders are picked accurately and packed with care. In this role, you will be directly involved in the customer experience, making sure they receive their items in perfect condition and on time. Your responsibilities will include selecting products from our extensive inventory and preparing them for shipment, employing efficient and safe work practices. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they match order specifications.
- Package products securely and appropriately for shipping, using various materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures, including safe lifting practices.
- Wear all required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves, to ensure personal safety.
- Meet or exceed productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and using PPE.
