We are seeking an energetic Order Picker to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed are critical to our logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch of goods. This position requires attention to detail, physical dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You'll work closely with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant standing, walking, and moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology.
- Strong commitment to Safety.
- Must wear required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics.
