We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of our warehouse, involving the movement, organization, and preparation of materials for production or shipment. You will be responsible for receiving, identifying, and distributing various materials throughout the facility. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure materials are handled correctly and efficiently, supporting our overall logistics and manufacturing goals.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from various departments using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Prepare materials for shipment or production.
- Conduct regular checks of material stock.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Use appropriate PPE when handling materials.
- Assist with Shipping and Receiving tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and material flow.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Willingness to wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of logistics principles is beneficial.
