Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This includes conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize stock loss. Your attention to detail and understanding of warehouse logistics will be essential in ensuring that our inventory data is up-to-date and reliable. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve overall inventory processes. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding high standards of accuracy and efficiency in a demanding logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Track and manage the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and potential issues.
  • Work with the receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate transaction processing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Assist in the implementation of new inventory management systems or technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of materials, and appropriate use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management is required.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of proper PPE and lifting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
