We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and securely packing them for shipment. This position is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition and on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment to fulfill orders efficiently. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, adhering strictly to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using an RF scanner.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely in appropriate boxes or containers, using correct packing materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques is essential.
