We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing logistics company where your contributions are valued. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications, using hand-held scanners to track inventory, and ensuring all items are picked with care to prevent damage.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Utilize RF scanners to locate and verify items, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Commitment to Safety and teamwork.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
