Join our logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama, as a Material Handler! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on the safe and efficient movement and organization of goods. You will be responsible for receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking orders, and preparing items for shipment. We're seeking individuals who are reliable, physically capable, and possess a keen eye for detail. Training will be provided on equipment operation and warehouse procedures. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus. Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 60 lbs. Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
