You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets, using scanning equipment to track inventory, and packing items securely for safe transit. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure order accuracy and minimize shipping errors. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a warehouse setting, capable of performing tasks that involve standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods. We prioritize safety and expect all employees to adhere to our strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection and efficient space utilization.
- Verify product information against order details to maintain accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- The ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting is required, with maximum lifting limits clearly defined and communicated.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
