We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer for our Jacksonville, Florida location. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process and directly impacts our logistics operations. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Precision, speed, and a commitment to quality are essential. Responsibilities include using scanning equipment, verifying product information, and ensuring that packages are securely and correctly prepared. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety , and adherence to all established protocols, including the consistent use of PPE , is required. This role requires physical dexterity, stamina, and the ability to handle frequent Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets.
- Inspect picked items for damage and ensure correct quantities.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory movement and order status.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse safety .
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE .
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Perform tasks involving regular moderate Lifting and standing for long periods.
- Support the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product labels.
- Physical capability to perform manual Lifting and work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with PPE requirements.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control principles.
