We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Denver, Colorado. This role is crucial for the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse operations. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing orders for shipment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and accuracy in all tasks performed. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to meet performance targets while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slips to orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and quality control.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
