We are seeking a skilled and licensed Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, with a strong background in working with various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, and diesel engines. This role offers an opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles, including Mazda models, and to utilize advanced tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
* Utilize schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and ADAS technology to identify issues accurately.
* Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, and powertrain servicing.
* Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
* Perform wheel alignments and work on vehicle suspension systems to ensure proper handling and safety.
* Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
* Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers when necessary.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Assist with vehicle inspections for warranty or quality assurance purposes as needed.
*Requirements*
* Valid Automotive Service Technician license or certification.
* Proven dealership experience or similar service technician background preferred.
* Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, transmissions, diesel engines, and Mazda vehicles is highly desirable.
* Experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery.
* Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing complex issues.
* Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
