*CompuOne Corporation *is a full-service managed IT services provider headquartered in San Diego seeking a *Network Administrator* to join our team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in designing, managing, and securing advanced network environments across multiple client sites.
*What You’ll Do:*
* Lead the *design, implementation, and support* of scalable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
* Assisting in the analysis and support of IT problems, ensuring efficient resolution.
* *Monitor and optimize* network performance, availability, and security using industry best practices
* Troubleshoot and resolve *complex network issues*, escalating and coordinating with vendors as needed
* Configure and maintain *VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS*, and security protocols
* Administer and maintain systems including *Cisco, VMWare, Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.*
* Manage virtualization platforms including *VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure*
* Oversee *system audits, documentation*, and disaster recovery planning
* Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend improvements
* Travel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
*What You Bring to the Table:*
* 2+ years of experience in *network administration* and IT infrastructure support
* Proven expertise in *switching, routing*, and *firewall management*
* Advanced knowledge of *network security practices* and access controls
* Strong command of *Microsoft environments*, including Office 365 and Active Directory
* Experience managing *virtual environments* (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Azure)
* Proficiency with *network monitoring* and diagnostic tools
* Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
* Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
* Industry certifications such as *CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+*, or *Microsoft Certified*
* Experience working in a *MSP (Managed Services Provider)* environment is a plus
