À propos
*This is not a remote job; this is a full-time in person job out of our Allen Texas office. *
*About Pravis as a company *
Pravis is the premier IT partner for companies seeking a natural extension of their company’s IT department for both help desk and engineering level support. With offices in both Allen, Texas and Orange County, California, 100% of our services are delivered by state-side Pravis employees. The company was founded in 2011 by an infrastructure engineer and has always strived to be a talent focused company and not an aggressive, sales fueled company that wrongly over promises and under delivers. This approach, unique to our industry, has allowed for tremendous organic growth. It is this organic growth that drives the need for us to expand our pool of talented Pravis Engineers.
*Pravis Engineer Job Role *
Complimented by our help desk technicians who deliver best-in-class customer service day in and day out, Pravis Engineers are tasked with designing, implementing, documenting, training, and acting as the escalation contact for the in-scope systems across our client base.
Pravis Engineers work across a wide scope of systems which is best described as the group of foundational systems that you will find in nearly any corporate IT portfolio. While each Pravis Engineer has unique strengths in certain areas and systems, all Pravis Engineers are expected to be generalists capable of supporting each element of the stack.
Rather than copy and paste a long list of vendors and technologies we’ve instead opted to provide a sampling of tasks that Pravis Engineers handle daily. If this list matches your skill set, then we want to hear from you as soon as possible.

* Researching an obscure Windows Server issue reported by the client’s application teams, recommending a resolution, implementing the resolution, and implementing the same resolution proactively across the rest of the client portfolio as needed.
* Planning for the IT infrastructure needs of an office move for a client’s office, traveling to remove IT infrastructure equipment from the client’s current office, installing the IT infrastructure equipment at the client’s new office, reprogramming of IT infrastructure equipment for the client's new office, and providing triage support for the client the next morning.
