A Paul Davis Reconstruction Manager is responsible for jobsite supervision and oversite of Paul Davis’s Trades Teams. Responsible for the Construction Side of Restoration, focusing on the following: Project Management, Job Supervision, Estimating, Sales/Marketing, Closing jobs and Collections. Our Managers represents the best of PDR.
This position reports to the Director of Repairs.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
Job supervision and Project Management
* Create, monitor, and maintain job budgets.
* Review estimates for the purpose of contracting with property owner.
* Contact and hire subcontractors as needed.
* Provide job scope information to work crews.
* Schedule jobs with owners
* Schedule, dispatch, and manage work crews.
* Supervise and enforce OSHA safety requirements for job site safety.
* Maintain open communication between all involved parties.
* Job site inspections for quality and production control
* Perform final walkthrough for quality control.
* Supervision of ‘on-call’ jobs as required.
* Be proficient in the RMS job management program.
* Be proficient with Matterport job documentation hardware and software.
* Provide timely updates in XactAnalysis.
* Knowledge of and performance of specific direct repair (vendor) program requirements.
* Knowledge of and performance of Lead Safe Guidelines
* Hiring of competent in-house tradesmen for the work-crew
* Knowledge of and performance of Uniform Building code
Estimating
* Enter estimates, change orders and supplements in both Xactimate and RMS estimating programs.
* Be proficient in the Xactimate and Symbility estimating programs.
Marketing
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with property insurance agents and adjusters.
* Provide timely communications and job updates with agents or adjusters including providing documents relevant to jobs.
* Maintain a high average NPS survey score for jobs.
Sales
* Make initial contact with customer.
* Initial job site inspection to establish customer trust and scope of work.
* Use proper PDR contacts as appropriate (standard insurance work authorization, emergency repair, property improvement and change order forms).
* Possess thorough knowledge of fire/smoke and water damage.
* Available for ‘on-call’ duties
Collection and closing jobs.
* Timely invoicing following the PDR billing procedures.
* Timely collection of funds for contracted jobs
* Compile all necessary documentation and approvals to close the job.
* Performs additional duties as assigned.
*Minimum Job Requirements: *
* Bachelor’s Degree, Associates, or equivalent experience in construction (5+ years)
* Experience in Re-Construction and Management.
* Able to pass Drug Test, MVR Check, and Background Check.
* Must maintain working hours consistent with the job requirements. During high volume business activity, job requirements may extend well beyond normal office hours.

* Excellent Customer Service Skills.
* Ability to read Blueprints.
* Ability to prioritize several open tasks.
* Understanding of cost management methodologies, activities, and cost pools based on direct and indirect cost rates.

*Working Conditions:*
* Working in both the office and in the field (job sites).
* In a typical interior/warehouse/office environment; when work is performed in an Office setting, must be able to sit for long durations of time.
* Construction environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, and fumes.
* Exposure to moderate noise levels.
* May require standing or walking for up to 4-6 hours per day.
* Must be able to walk up and down stairs and be able to climb ladders.
* Able to lift 50lbs.
*Equipment Used:*
* Microsoft O365 consisting of Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and other software applications include Xactimate, Symbility, Job Management Software (RMS), etc.
* Laptop, iPad/tablets, smartphones
* Copier and standard office equipment
* Ability to learn proficiency with cutting technology (Matterport)
