Analog Devices is seeking an innovative, self-motivated, new or recent graduate embedded software engineer to join our team developing industry-leading Battery Management Systems at the heart of vehicle electrification and industrial energy storage. You’ll join a team (local and global) that shares a genuine passion for defining and developing products that are fundamentally changing the world of transportation and energy. Helping create software products comprised of real-time, embedded software to cloud-based analytics, you’ll help Analog Devices drive the future of automotive – Intelligence at the Edge. Help define and specify new embedded software for ADI automotive electrification products – battery management systems in particular. Design, develop and test scalable, high quality automotive embedded software and system products. Implement novel, efficient software technologies to improve product throughput. Requirements
BS/MS in Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering. Newly graduated or with a few years’ experience of embedded software product development. Strengths in all aspects of software development and software lifecycle. Possess strong communication skills and preference for delivering as part of a team. Have a bias for action and work in collaboration with others to deliver results. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of software, applications, system, marketing and product engineers with wide-ranging backgrounds, cultures, and geographies. Strong C/C++ and proficiency in Python. Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and real-time operating systems. Desirable
Knowledge of lithium-ion Battery Management Systems. Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Embedded Coder. Agile development methods including use of Confluence/Jira/Jama tools. Knowledge/experience with development process (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262) compliance. Experience in automotive OEM/Tier 1/2 customer engagements. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices may require export licensing approval.
