When you join KeHE, youre becoming part of a team that is a force for good./ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3pThe Senior Engineer of Data and Analytics Engineer will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success and growth of KeHE by engaging with internal business stakeholders of all levels. This role will become an enabler by providing support and guidance in defining and delivering their data engineering and analytics needs by turning data into actionable information leveraging on-prem and cloud technologies. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHEs Mission, Vision, and Values./ph3Essential Functions/h3pDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliDemonstrated ability to partner with internal product stakeholders to help define requirements and outcomes for data-focused initiatives./liliAbility to decompose large problems and execute smaller, manageable bodies of work to demonstrate continuous architecture delivery./liliArchitects and manages scalable data pipelines across on-premises and cloud data repositories./liliCreates data flow diagrams, and document source to target mapping/liliUtilizes their business acumen, analytical mindset, and strong communication/people skills to extract business requirements and translates them into actionable tasks./liliMaintains the data warehouse performance by optimizing batch processing through parallelization, performance tuning, aggregations etc./liliCreates user-facing dashboards that provide key insights for its specific audience./liliRecognizes and adopts best practices and cost-effective solutions in developing analytical insights on prem and in the cloud./liliProvides guidance and mentors junior team members./liliKeeps current with Business Intelligence data trends and technological innovations/liliExecutes on POCs with new technologies, drive innovation, and new ideas/li/ulpSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:/pulliAble to collaborate with a development team with established source control (git)./liliStrong understanding of data modeling (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience with Operation Data Stores, Enterprise Data warehouses and Data Marts)./liliStrong knowledge with business intelligence and data warehousing design principles and industry best practices including multi-dimensional modelling (star schemas, snowflakes, de-normalized models, handling slow changing dimensions)./liliAbility to work with stakeholders and changing priorities/liliAbility to learn and apply new technologies to business problems./liliStrong communication skills both verbally and written./liliAbility to work independently and in a team environment./liliAbility to multitask tasks./liliExpert knowledge of Python and C#./li/ulh3Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude/h3pEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:/pulliBachelors degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field./lili7+ years leveraging Microsoft and its associated array of offerings (SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI, etc.)/lili5+ years leveraging AWS and its associated array of offerings (Glue, Redshift, Athena, S3, Spectrum, PySpark etc.)/li/ulpPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/pulliThese physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job./li/ulpEqual Employer Opportunity Statement/ppKeHE Distributors provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits all forms of discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion or faith, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
