Americana Art Enterprises is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining financial records of our company, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and analytical skills, as well as experience with accounting software and basic accounting principals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee general bookkeeping for the company
  • Manage accounts payable
    • Reconcile invoices
    • Make journal entries
    • Validate vendor accounts
    • Write checks and process ACH payments
  • Manage accounts receivable
    • Send invoices and follow up to ensure the company is paid according to terms
    • Follow up on past due accounts receivable 
    • Send accounts to collection as needed
    • Make deposits into the company's accounts
  • Reconcile credit card charges and manage
