About The Role
Sunshine Terrace Foundation is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented
Transportation Coordinator
to support the safe and efficient transportation of our residents. This role plays a key part in coordinating medical appointments, managing driver schedules, and ensuring our residents receive timely and compassionate service.

Key Responsibilities
Resident Transportation & Safety

  • Transport residents to and from medical appointments in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Ensure resident comfort and safety throughout each trip.

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Coordinate all resident medical appointments using Google Calendar.
  • Manage daily and weekly driver schedules and adjust as needed.
  • Communicate promptly with nurses, providers, and internal departments.
  • Schedule PCP visits, specialist appointments, surgery follow-ups, and other clinical visits.
  • Monitor email for new appointment requests and follow-up needs.

Administrative & Support Tasks

  • Deliver and pick up monthly physician orders.
  • Document and verify resident information in MatrixCare.
  • Maintain supply levels, place orders through McKesson, and keep shelves stocked.
  • Track data and schedules using Google Sheets.

Vehicle & On-Call Duties

  • Monitor vehicle condition and ensure regular service and maintenance.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends (on-call pay provided).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proof of current auto insurance.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (training available on-site).
  • Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs (bending, crouching, pushing, pulling).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional evening and weekend on-call rotation.
  • On-call compensation is provided.
