Assistant Infant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our early childhood team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for infants. Your energy, compassion, and attention to detail will help foster early development milestones while ensuring each Infants needs are met with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing the daily program while promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive development for infants
• Support diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs with patience and attentiveness
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with the state of Wisconsin's licensing guidelines.
• Observe Infants' progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform teaching strategies
• Communicate with parents professionally and effectively

Requirements

• Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving setting
• Ability to provide nurturing care while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families
• Passion for supporting young children's growth and creating a positive learning atmosphere

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
