Retail Sales Associate

RETAIL INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - HARDSCAPE & MASONRY
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our amazing team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. You will assist in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise as needed.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.

Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with cash registers, POS systems, and general computer knowledge.
- Ability to sell products by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Knowledge of landscaping, masonry, concrete pavers, retaining walls, and/or general warehouse product.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
- Sales experience of hardscape and/or related industry is advantageous but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam

• Able to occasionally lift and/or move material up to 75lbs.
