Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Licensed Medicare Agent to join our team. This role involves educating clients about Medicare options, assisting with enrollment processes, and providing exceptional service to meet their healthcare needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sales experience, and a thorough understanding of insurance products, particularly Medicare plans. Bilingual abilities and experience in outside sales or retail sales are highly desirable to effectively connect with diverse client populations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your sales expertise within the healthcare insurance industry while helping clients navigate complex benefits options.

Duties

  • Educate prospective and current clients on Medicare plans, coverage options, and benefits administration
  • Conduct outside sales activities, including outreach and community engagement to generate leads
  • Assist clients with enrollment processes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal requirements
  • Negotiate plan options tailored to individual client needs through effective communication skills
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as documentation, follow-up, and maintaining accurate client records
  • Utilize analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable insurance products
  • Engage in telemarketing efforts to expand client base while adhering to regulatory standards
  • Provide ongoing customer service support, addressing questions or concerns related to Medicare plans
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that promote plan awareness and enrollment

Qualifications

  • Valid insurance license for Medicare plans required; additional licenses in health or life insurance preferred
  • Proven experience in insurance sales, outside sales, or retail sales environments
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills essential for building trust with clients
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse populations effectively
  • Experience with sales administration tools and analysis skills for evaluating client data and plan options
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and benefits administration practices necessary for compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to educate clients clearly
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple client interactions efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60, $72,740.09 per year
