Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Front Office (Insurance Agency)

Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time may be considered)
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience/licensing)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (day shift)

Job Summary

Solberg Insurance Agency is hiring a Front Office / Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our independent insurance agency serving Lakes Country Minnesota. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting clients with policy service needs, and supporting daily office operations.

No insurance experience required — we will train the right person.
Customer service experience is a plus — we're most focused on attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet walk-in clients, and provide friendly customer service
• Payments and billing questions
• Collect and organize customer information for quotes and renewals
• Document calls and service activity accurately in agency systems
• Scan/upload documents and maintain organized client files
• Support agents with administrative tasks and follow-up communications

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Ability to learn new software systems and work efficiently on a computer
• Reliable attendance and professional appearance

Preferred Experience

• Prior customer service, office assistant, or receptionist experience
• Insurance agency experience preferred, but not required
• Minnesota P&C license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
