Lead assigned staff in performing medical and diagnostic imaging activities or tasks within assigned departments and/or functional areas.

• Ensure quality in imaging, patient care and workflow. Oversee equipment maintenance and trouble shooting. Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
• Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special and advanced procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
• Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff. Serve as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job
