TIN TIN is our exciting new restaurant opening in the vibrant heart of Little Havana, is set to redefine Miami cuisine with a delightful blend of Cuban flavors enriched by French and Italian influences. As the big sister restaurant to the beloved Tinta Y Cafe, Tin Tin promises an elevated dining experience for food enthusiasts.

We are seeking an experienced and personable Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with a passion for creating welcoming environments for guests. This role is vital in ensuring a positive first impression and smooth flow of service within our establishment. Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hotel guest services is highly preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle guest relations with warmth and efficiency.

Duties

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu information, and special requests
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service
• Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with guest services as needed
• Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Host or Host in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
• Open Table Experience a MUST
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of food service operations and guest relations best practices
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism
• Experience in hotel guest services or serving roles is a plus
• Professional appearance and demeanor with strong phone etiquette skills
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
