Pay is $22 per hour, paid weekly.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, or staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong janitorial and custodial experience, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities through diligent cleaning, floor care, and basic maintenance tasks.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Conduct specialized floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping floors to maintain their appearance and longevity.
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents to maintain large or heavily used spaces.
• Assist with residential painting projects when required to support facility improvements.
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory; restock cleaning carts and storage areas as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly.
• Execute custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide porter services by assisting with moving furniture or equipment during cleaning or maintenance activities.

Experience

• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial, residential, or industrial settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, stripping, and polishing.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is advantageous.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
