Senior Estimator

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead our estimating department for construction projects. This role is responsible for the accuracy, competitiveness, and consistency of all estimates and for providing leadership and direction to the estimating team.

The Senior Estimator will work closely with executive leadership, operations, and project management to support bid strategy and preconstruction planning.

Duties

• Lead and manage the estimating team, providing guidance, oversight, and accountability
• Prepare and review project cost estimates, takeoffs, and pricing
• Oversee the bid process from review through submission
• Develop bid strategies and assess risk in coordination with leadership
• Ensure accurate estimate handoff to operations and project teams
• Maintain estimating standards, cost data, and best practices
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools

Experience

• 10+ years of construction estimating experience
• Proven experience leading or mentoring an estimating team
• Strong background in construction
• Thorough understanding of construction means and methods
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Access, Outlook and Excel
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Pay: $85, $100,000.00 per year
