Locum Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Maternity Cover (6 Months)

• We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated team for a 6-month maternity cover contract.

About the Role:

• Manage a varied caseload of major equipment and adaptation cases for disabled children and young people.

• Carry out comprehensive assessments, provide recommendations, prepare reports, and support service users to achieve greater independence.

• Offer professional advice and guidance to colleagues and multi-agency partners on paediatric disability matters.

• Work closely with statutory agencies, housing providers, health commissioners, voluntary organisations, and other partners to ensure coordinated service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support effective service planning and auditing.

• Contribute to the development of best practice and new procedures through participation in working groups, training, and continuous professional development.

About You:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.

• Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, particularly in managing complex equipment and adaptation cases.

• Skilled in multi-agency working and partnership collaboration.

• Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.

• Organised and capable of managing a diverse caseload effectively.
