This role is based in San Francisco or New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About The Role
Conduct exploratory data analyses and proof-of-concept machine learning models to understand opportunities and project impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, engineering, design, legal, trust & safety) to design effective machine learning solutions.
Analyze and prepare training data, including using crowdsourcing data labeling techniques.
Train and iterate on machine learning models using novel techniques.
Deploy models to production and write backend code when necessary.
Debug models when observability shows performance gaps, and iterate on models.
About You
Minimum 5 years of experience working in an end-to-end machine learning team: analyzing data, building & iterating models, writing production-level code, shipping to production, monitoring performance, and A/B testing.
Write clean, robust code in Python (or other languages) with a keen eye for detail in code reviews.
Experience debugging complex systems with a systematic approach.
Curious mindset and dive deeply into datasets to understand our product and customers.
Solid communication skills and clear documentation.
Growth mindset and aspiration to continuously improve soft and technical skills.
Energized about building first versions of systems and passionate about empowering creators with new ML solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
