Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Educate customers about different cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Conduct product demos to help customers understand effects, usage, and benefits
• Assist with product merchandising and stocking to maintain an organized and appealing sales floor
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions
• Maintain clean and safe work environment by following health and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support inventory management through stock checks and product replenishment

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialty retail environments
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Experience conducting product demos or educational sessions enhances customer engagement
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about industry-specific regulations is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to upsell and merchandise products effectively
