Caregiver AM and PM Shift

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for clients, whether in assisted living facilities, home care settings, or group homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to care plans and dietary restrictions.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or home care is preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
