Skilled Construction Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of carpentry and construction, including framing, hanging drywal,trim work, and remodeling. This role involves working on diverse construction projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and adhering to safety standards. Candidates should have extensive experience with hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, and construction site operations. A background in restoration, roofing, masonry, or the restoration industry is a plus. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately.
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
• Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing as required by project specifications.
• Execute drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and flooring or tile laying projects.
• Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and other structural components.
• Fabricate custom woodwork or metal components as needed for specific projects.
• Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction site activities while maintaining safety protocols.
• Assist with remodeling projects including electrical wiring, plumbing, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general maintenance person tasks.
• Follow project plans and schematics to ensure accurate execution of all tasks on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general construction site work.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (preferred), and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry techniques, roofing systems, siding installation, drywall finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, and electrical or plumbing basics is highly desirable.
• Experience in restoration industry work such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
• Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation required for job sites.
