You will be responsible for conducting audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast needs to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics.
- Manage and maintain the organization of inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts if certified, safely.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency with inventory management software and systems (e.g., WMS, ERP). Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be proficient in data analysis and reporting. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles. Excellent communication skills. Forklift certification is a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and pass a background check and drug screening.
