Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in Boston, Massachusetts! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are moved, sorted, and stored efficiently. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, and preparing goods for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and organization of stock.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Contribute to the overall success of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and inventory management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Team player with good communication abilities. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with forklifts or other specialized equipment is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check.
