We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our thriving facility in Orlando, Florida. This position plays a key role in the seamless flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. As a vital member of our logistics team, you will be involved in all aspects of distribution center operations. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and packing and shipping orders. We are committed to fostering a safe and productive environment, providing the necessary training and equipment to ensure success. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using order sheets or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist in cycle counting procedures.
- Comply with all company policies, emphasizing Safety and proper handling of materials.
- Ensure consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of boxes and items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Basic understanding of Logistics operations.
