Join our fast-paced distribution center in Austin, Texas, as an Order Picker! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to retrieve specified items from shelves and stock locations, preparing them for packing and shipment. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high standard of accuracy and speed. A strong emphasis on safety is placed on all warehouse activities, and adherence to protocols is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
- Verify product codes and quantities before proceeding to the next item.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Ensure correct use of PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Must be reliable and have good attendance.
