Join our team as an Order Picker in Cincinnati, Ohio! This role is crucial for the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving products from our warehouse shelves. You'll work with a scanner and our warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure inventory accuracy and order completeness. We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, motivated, and dedicated to upholding our high standards of service and safety within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from specific locations within the warehouse based on order requirements.
- Verify the items picked against the order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory movements.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking quotas and operational goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are paramount. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory control. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements is essential. Good communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
