Join our growing team in Boise, Idaho, as a Receiving Clerk. This key position is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of all incoming goods. You will be tasked with unloading deliveries, meticulously verifying contents against purchase orders and invoices, inspecting for any damages, and promptly updating our inventory management system. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are vital for maintaining the integrity of our stock and ensuring the smooth operation of our Logistics department. This role requires physical stamina and a strong adherence to all Safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload all incoming shipments accurately and safely.
- Verify the contents of shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Inspect all goods for damage or defects and document any issues.
- Enter received inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) promptly and accurately.
- Label and stock received items in their designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, adhering to all company Safety policies.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE , including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Perform tasks requiring Lifting of up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, warehouse staff, and management regarding receiving activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with WMS and inventory control procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and perform regular Lifting .
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Logistics workflows is advantageous.
