Position

The Reliability Specialist is responsible for developing, improving, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs for industrial equipment in order to extend asset life and improve overall equipment performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Know and comply at all times with applicable quality and food safety standards , occupational health and safety regulations , and company policies ;
  • Organize and plan all activities related to improving equipment reliability ;
  • Investigate and understand the root causes of equipment failures in collaboration with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel;
  • Add to and update preventive maintenance procedures in the existing ERP system , in coordination with the maintenance department;
  • Support maintenance technicians during interventions to optimize corrective actions;
  • Support the plant’s technical team in continuous improvement projects (5S, Kaizen, SMED);
  • Analyze and quantify equipment downtime costs , and estimate budgets for equipment improvement or replacement;
  • Document and classify all equipment-related information in the ERP system and in hard-copy format;
  • Support the integration of new equipment for plant expansion and capital projects;
  • Stay current with emerging technologies related to reliability ;
  • Integrate and promote LEAN standards and methodologies ;
  • Actively contribute to the development and deployment of reliability best practices among plant personnel.
