Waitstaff/Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Clear tables efficiently, bussing as needed to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when necessary, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively
• Provide excellent guest services, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
• Support other team members such as host/host or bartenders during busy periods

Skills

• Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Previous fine dining or restaurant experience is preferred; hospitality background is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Upselling abilities to promote menu items and increase sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in the food industry, including serving, bussing, or host/host roles, is advantageous
• Flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed; nightclub or hospitality experience can be beneficial
