About our office

We are an established private solo private practice in Palm Desert. We do not participate in HMO's, Delta, Dentical. We are a cosmetic, implant, adult centered practice. Our team and patients are happy, upbeat, respectful. We are looking for a positive, no drama addition to our team. Spanish speaking is a plus. Being an RDA who wants to transition more to the front office is welcomed.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, providing exceptional patient service, and supporting medical administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office management, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and strong communication skills. Bilingual abilities and prior clinic or dental office experience are highly valued to enhance patient interactions and administrative efficiency.

Duties

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette across multi-line phone systems.
• Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures accurately.

Experience

• Prior experience in a medical or dental office environment is preferred, including familiarity with office management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, and health information management standards such as HIPAA is essential.
• Experience with insurance verification processes.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency i.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $ $28.21 per hour
