Your Mission:
Under the direction of a Superintendent, act as the lead worker at project sites; direct crews to accomplish work plans and execute construction tasks in accordance with timeline and budget. Travel required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all construction work and crew assignments on a project site; determine daily need for staff and resources
· Provide daily guidance to layout personnel and heavy equipment operator(s)
· Oversee installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls in compliance with regulatory standards.
· Conduct safety evaluations for each job site and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
· Deliver or coordinate training for safety, including proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
· Monitor job site for safety related issues and take corrective action when necessary.
· Operate heavy equipment and perform labor tasks to support project progress.
· Initiate service calls for equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
· Support cost estimating activities and provide significant input to project budgets and resource planning.
· Maintain organized and clean project sites daily.
· Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company protocols and safety standards
· Communicate regularly with project manager(s) to facilitate problem-solving, manage change orders, and support accurate invoicing
· Must be able to follow and manage a project from start to finish
· Interpret and apply construction blueprints and project plans to guide crew activities and ensure accurate execution.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be willing to travel (Mid Atlantic area).
· HS diploma is required
· Three or more years of experience in construction, including stormwater management, stream restoration, wetland enhancement, leading a team.
· Clear understanding of and skill with all job-site tools and equipment
· Must demonstrate a positive attitude, adaptability, and customer-service commitment
· Ability to move and lift 50 pounds
· Ability to work outside for prolonged periods under extreme weather conditions

Pay: $ $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
