The Admissions Counselor position primary focus is the organization of all admissions communication, creating quick response times and streamlined communication with all referral sources and perspective families. Customer service, compassion, confidence, and professionalism is key.

**$2,500 TRAINING BONUS**

SPECIFICS: Full-time, Hourly position with Benefits/Competitive wages/401K with company matching/Paid Holiday's and Paid Time off

HOURS: Mon – Fri, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Times may vary based on need)

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Admissions & Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support throughout the admissions inquiry process, including: Creating and maintaining potential student's electronic file in the admission's CRM, scheduling phone/virtual calls between Admissions Director and potential families and referral sources, coordinating and conducting on-campus/virtual tours for families.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support related to the enrollment process for incoming families (e.g. sending/tracking enrollment paperwork, answering questions regarding the enrollment process, day/time of admit, creating a schedule for the student's arrival ensuring all pertinent Gateway team members are informed and available.
  • Support post-enrollment operations such as: creating both an electronic file and physical file for new student, ensuring relevant post-enrollment paperwork is distributed to appropriate departments and community professionals (e.g. pharmacy, ICPS recipients), administering the admissions YOQ (A0), and scheduling the the families New Parent Orientation Call between Gateway's Admissions Director and parent(s).
  • Update and email Admissions at a Glance document weekly to appropriate recipients.
  • Participate in weekly Admissions / Marketing meetings and manage meeting minutes.
  • Provide support to Gateway's Director of Business Development. (e.g. social media support, planning/coordinating marketing related events and travel for referral sources and school districts).
  • Update and maintain the BestNotes calendar as it relates to tours, admits, and admissions meetings.
  • Collect and upload student photos into Gateway's Parent Dropbox Folder.
  • Maintain and update all master documents related to the admissions process.
  • Track students' transition to age 18 and administer required over 18 paperwork with each of them.
  • Track Power of Attorneys for each enrolled student and renew as required by licensing.
  • Administer the student's Discharge YOQ (DO) within the 7 days leading up to the student's discharge date.

As Needed:

  • Support the screening process of potential student applicants.
  • Support the Administrative Assistant by managing phone communications and assisting with administrative duties, including packages and student correspondence.
  • Support in the milieu / school– May be asked to work residential shifts during slow admissions time.
  • Assist with the purchasing and picking up of graduation rings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (behavioral science and/or marketing preferred); or, two years' experience working in the area of adolescent residential treatment, public relations, marketing, administrative assistant, or admissions.
  • Must possess strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong executive functioning skills.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Prior admissions and/or office administration work preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Be able to pass a state background check.
  • Have a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45, $50,000.00 per year
