We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator – Dispatcher to join our team in Oakbrook, IL. Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing daily courier operations, sort verification, and customer communication. This position ensures on-time, accurate, and efficient delivery of products to customers while maintaining strong coordination between drivers, management, and clients.
Schedule:
9pm to 4:30am Monday- Friday and every other Saturday
Work Location: In-person, Oakbrook, IL facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch courier drivers and monitor routes to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
- Track, trace, and resolve on-road issues (breakdowns, bad addresses, delivery challenges).
- Communicate promptly with management and customer care teams regarding service issues or delays.
- Maintain OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged) accuracy and reporting.
- Utilize software tools to plan, track, and document deliveries according to customer requirements.
Maintain delivery logs, tracking reports, and performance records.
Prepare and submit operational reports to management.
- Ensure effective use of facility assets, vehicles, and communication channels.
- Support warehouse operations administratively as needed and assist with special projects as assigned.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Logistics, 3PL, or transportation industry preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of courier and/or dispatch experience (telephone dispatch preferred).
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and route tracking platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills preferred.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or higher in logistics, business, or a related field preferred (not required).
Physical Demands
- Lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- May require sitting, standing, walking, or working in an office/warehouse environment for portions of the shift.

Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including mid or night shifts, as needed.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check prior to employment.
Job Type and Compensation
- Full-Time, On-site
- Hourly Rate – Starting at $50,000 Based on experience (DOE)
