Tesla is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to drive site-level continuous improvement within Fulfillment Operations. Based full-time in the warehouse, you'll coordinate cross-functional initiatives, track progress in JIRA, and implement process, layout, and equipment changes that boost efficiency, standardization, and throughput. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, managing multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders aligned and data-driven decisions flowing. • Own and optimize the site JIRA project tracker by maintaining real-time accuracy of tasks, milestones, and risks while generating weekly status reports and dashboards for site leadership to enable proactive decision-making
  • Anticipate and resolve project risks and bottlenecks through regular reviews, escalation of critical path issues, and collaboration with stakeholders to implement contingency plans that prevent delays and minimize operational impact
  • Drive end-to-end implementation of operational improvements by supporting rollout of new workflows, equipment installations, and layout reconfigurations while ensuring training, change management, and post-go-live validation for sustained performance gains
  • Build and institutionalize project documentation by authoring clear SOPs, communication cadences, and lessons-learned summaries to standardize best practices and enable scalability across Tesla's fulfillment network
  • Steer data-informed project decisions by using Excel, Tableau, and ZipLabs to track KPIs, validate project impact, and present actionable insights to leadership, ensuring every initiative is measurable, prioritized, and aligned with site goals

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of project coordination or operations experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
  • Proficiency in JIRA (project tracking & workflows), Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards), Tableau (visualization & KPI reporting), and ZipLabs (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma exposure a plus)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management with the ability to influence up, down, and cross-functionally
  • Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and leading through influence (no direct reports)
