Position hours: This role typically works 8:30am - 6pm central time, but needs to be able to work any 9-hour shift between 3:30am - 7pm central time. Rotating Saturdays for on-call emergencies from 4am - 2pm.

I. Job Summary
Supervises daily dispatch operations and tracking. 
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Oversees daily activities of the dispatch department, ensuring productivity and quality goals are met.
  • Coordinates resolution of service orders and customer service issues.
  • Manages live dispatch as well as GPS and MAS data input.
  • Supervises processing of all paperwork, including billing backlog.
  • Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures and develops and implements safety briefings.
  • Coordinates container tracking, container placement, and driver safety.
  • Compiles and analyzes maintenance reports.
  • Coordinates schedules and monitors performance of staff and arranges for training as needed.
  • Oversees personnel needs of the department including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

III. Qualifications 
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (accredited)
  • 4 years of previous experience (in addition to education requirements)
  • Previous dispatching and driver management and general supervisory experience

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 per year.  This represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
