Structural Engineer PE-1

We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer PE-1 level to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in structural analysis and design for building projects and is able to independently produce high-quality construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit under the general supervision of a senior engineer. This role is suited for an engineer with strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset who prefers a variety of projects in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Work within the structural team to produce Construction Documents for building structures using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with outside team members including architects and contractors to provide coordinated, efficient designs.
• Perform self-directed analysis of building structures under the oversight of senior engineers.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while providing updates to senior engineers.
• Prepare accurate construction documents for review by senior engineering staff.

Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in the design of buildings and/or structures
• Familiarity with code requirements for structures
• Structural design experience, including the preparation of comprehensive calculation packages.
• Candidate has PE licensure, or ability to get licensed as a PE in Colorado
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit, and structural design software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing single and multi-family projects
• Design experience in wood, steel, and concrete
• Ability to independently perform assigned design tasks and calculations
• Desire to coordinate with outside design consultants

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85, $110,000.00 per year
