Resident Dining Specialist

***2000 Signing Bonus***

As a Resident Dining Specialist, you will be

· Interacting in a patient and respectful manner, with individuals who have mental and/or developmental disabilities

· Preparing and serving two to three meals per day for up to 30 residents

· Following facility menus, meal plans, and recipes while taking into consideration any special dietary needs of our residents

· Maintaining a clean, sanitary work environment

· Receiving and stocking all deliveries, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly labeled and stored

· Documenting any menu changes and substitutions

· Communicating directly with the Food Director to ensure that the facility is running efficiently, proper inventory is on hand, and equipment is in good working condition

· Providing our residents with a satisfactory dining experience by delivering meals in a timely fashion while taking into consideration the likes and dislikes of our clients

· Following all Washington State Food Safety standards, guidelines, and WACs

Qualifications

· Experience cooking for large groups

· Ability to work independently

· Detail oriented

· Good time management

· Ability to read a recipe and follow direction

· Positive, professional, and patient personality is a must

Requirements

· Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US

· Must pass a Washington State Background Check

· Washington State Food Worker Card

Preferred Credentials & Certificates

· CPR/First Aid

· Blood Bone Pathogens

Available Shifts

· 8:00 am to 6:00 pm M-F, 7:30am to 5:30pm Sat-Sun

· 10-hour shifts, three days off each week

· Never required to work both weekend days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
