Certified Nursing Assistant

Job description

Stoddard Baptist Nursing Home, a long-term care and rehabilitation facility in the historic Mount Pleasant area, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants with nursing home experience who are dedicated to providing the highest-quality care.

Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding

• Take and record vital signs accurately

• Provide basic patient care.

• Support medical staff with procedures and treatments

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas

• Update and maintain medical records systems with accuracy

• Monitor and report changes in patient health status

• Provide basic life support as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or in a nursing home setting is preferred

• Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is a plus

• Ability to perform tasks efficiently under pressure

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Two years of CNA experience is prefered.
