Enterprise Services comprises of multiple business platforms including Client Services, Global Business Operations, Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics, and Digital Services, which reports into the Chief of Enterprise Services. These grouped platforms enable the business to optimize delivery for clients, generate efficiencies and resilience, and enable consistency in the business digitization strategy, processes and end-to-end best practices.

The Impact you will have in this role:

DTCC is looking for a visionary business leader responsible for the strategy, modernization, and end-to-end management of DTCC's enterprise-wide client connectivity and machine-to-machine interface capabilities. This role is pivotal in transforming how DTCC interacts with clients — across networks, channels, formats, and data transport technologies by delivering seamless, secure, and scalable experiences. The Executive Director will drive innovation, simplification, and standardization, ensuring DTCC remains at the forefront of modern digital connectivity in the financial services industry. 

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership  

  • Drive Client Interfaces as an enterprise platform, not just a technology function. This includes centralized product management, enterprise adoption, and consistent support model. 
  • Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for the Client Interfaces Platform, aligning with DTCC's Modernization roadmap, delivery practice standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Champion modernization initiatives, including the adoption of APIs, cloud technologies, Kafka and spearheading industry adoption of fit for purpose formats (e.g., ISO
  • Serve as the platform's evangelist, representing DTCC in industry forums and driving thought leadership. 

Operational Excellence  

  • Oversee all aspects of platform management, including provisioning, integration, operational readiness, and lifecycle management. 
  • Ensure the platform meets non-functional requirements for resiliency, security, and performance. 
  • Develop and maintain platform management standards and best practices. 

Stakeholder Engagement  

  • Partner extensively with Technology, Risk, Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders to deliver platform enhancements and ensure alignment with business needs. 
  • Provide transparency to DTCC leadership on roadmap progress, KPIs, operating expenses, and business value. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving adoption of platform solutions. 

Product & Client Focus  

  • Own the product lifecycle management process, from identifying gaps and opportunities to road-testing solutions with clients and prioritizing features. 
  • Champions a client-centric approach, ensuring solutions deliver measurable improvements in client satisfaction and operational efficiency. 
  • Support delivery teams as the onsite voice of the customer, resolving queries and driving continuous improvement. 

Financial & Vendor Oversight 

  • Manage budgets and vendor relationships to optimize costs and ensure value delivery. 
  • Adhere to DTCC's new initiative approval process (NIAP) and other governance requirements.
  • Fosters a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Results driven individual with proven experience in matrix leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven product management experience with cloud and on-prem based applications offering machine to machine interfaces to customers (prior exposure to customer integration teams a plus).
  • Working understanding of how an enterprise application is designed and functions end to end in a shared services supported environment.
  • Experience with financial management, P&L management and/or cost allocation strategies
  • Working understanding machine-to-machine messaging protocols (e.g., MQ, Kafka, AMQP, REST) and file
